Thanks Mechy!Have you got a SwissChamp?
Here´s my black one, and its predecessor the Champion. That one is about 35 years old.
Nice, Marc! The Champ has awlways seemed too big (or not big enough) for me. But I do admire them.
There's my first and currently only one. I had the scales swapped as the representative at Warsaw Showroom just on Wednesday last week. They asked for 13 PLN (circa €3.25 for putting on new scales, an engraving (my name) and a new toothpick and the pin my old scales didn't have. Most importantly the representative spoke great English, was extremely respectful and even interested in my stories, even as we didn't end up buying anything else, though I guess at an official store that should be expected.Today I figured to also give it the well deserved and overdue bath, it's been EDC without exceptions since the day I acquired it, so it gets a bit dirty, so I definitely get "never going back" the SwissChamp just feels like a companion for life.
The SwissChamp depicted above is my first one. Wow, what a toolset. It was monogrammed, gifted years ago and never taken out of the fancy leather sheath. Some $40.00 Cdn dollars. I though it would be cool to, of course, abolish the monogram; then sitting at my desk the first scale I found was a red one...the rest is history...a bi-colour CDNCHAMP was born...You can all thank me later. I just hope to find a tiny stainless steel maple leaf to affix to this beast. Anyone ever done that before?

Seriously though, taking them apart and re-assembly is a lot of fun. I do a lot of pocket watch strip down, cleaning, oiling, adjustments and timing...SAK are more fun. HEHE
I had a SwissChamp once... good times
