Good mornin!

The epoxy is setting well, a little tacky still. Sanding and drilling will likely take place early in the week.

Pretty much ready to peen the scales in place, as soon as the epoxy is fully cured.

The scales turned out as expected, the epoxy cured properly. The scales were drilled free hand using liners, I had kicking around, as templates. That proves consistency in manufacturing and production; since the scales, the extra liners and the actual SAK are spread over several decades...  :salute:  Victorinox.

Nah, its a new concept I am trying...allows you to hang smurf off your smurfing knife, it will also get snagged into
Your smurfing pockets...

I'll perform some field trials then send it to you when it has driven me completely mad...

Sarcasm aside for a minute... yes I need to cut and peen the pins  lol

It does look good. :tu:  How tight were you able to get the pivots?  Is there any blade play, and is the bail free to move?

Overall I am pleased with the outcome:
All of the components, liners, springs, tools and the blade layer spacer are nice and snug.
There is zero play in the tools, on either end, but more specifically on the bail end, all of the implements have a nice snap opening and closing.
The bail is free to move with assistance, it will not sag, but it will travel to both extremes, having said that... it rubs on the tooth pick a little, I will need to figure out how to address this issue.

Thank you all for the comments

I think you could file some material off the toothpick without making it inextricable...
Cheers!

Thank you very much, it makes the three (six) bushing SAKs a lot less terrifying now... hehe
