Zebra light + washer+ dryer
on: March 12, 2018, 01:34:02 AM
So I threw some wash in today. Forgot my light was in my jean pocket and...still works.   Definitely worth every cent I paid for it. Thought I’d share.

Awesome! Glad it still works. Love my pair of Zebralights and even without a accidental wash I already think they are worth every cent.   :tu:

Happy I’m not the only one. First time I’ve ever done something like this. I’m so rushed on my weekend with my kid. I heard the clanking. Figured it was just zippers or something.

I am a commercial food service tech and as such work on commercial conveyor dish machines.  These units will pump hundreds of gallons of 150*F+ corrosive chemical-laden water per hour.  The entire reason I purchased my ZL SC62 was a review I read from a fellow Tech about how he had dropped his in one of these hellish machines while it was running and could not retrieve it for two hours.  At the time of his review (a year and a half) after the great drop he was still using the same light and did not even have to replace the battery.  I have as of yet not tested his review but I can attest to the ZL being far tougher than any of the other BIG NAME lights I had in the past.  I am a ZL fan for life.

I think we can agree that you only have real problems if you then stick them in a dryer  too!?

I've put mine through the wash a few times by mistake.      River crossings, beach fishing, working in the rain etc: still works.

that's good news
Solving problems you didn't know you had in the most obscure way possible

"And now, it's time to hand this over to our tame race axe driver. Some say, he can live in the forest for six months at a time without food, and he knows of a secret tribe of only women where he is their God. All we know is, he's call the Styx!" - TazzieRob
