Victorinox Collection to Date March 2018
on: March 22, 2018, 11:02:41 AM

My collection is quite small compared to many I've seen online. No vintage or antiques here. Missing are a few econoline Solos, which are camp food knifes, and a few in my  medical emergency kit. These are all users. They range from about 30 years, to contemporary. My main repeats are Hunstman, Pioneer and Farmer, new Soldier Knife, SwissTool, ST Spirit, Spartan, Classic cellidor and alox, and a few others. Maybe I'd trade all this for one Ranger with riotously bright orange alox scales--but maybe not.

In there are Huntsman, Forester, Soldier Knife, Climber, Hiker, Recruit, Bantam, Delemont s16 and 17, several small Evowood, the 130mm Evowood 55, 130mm Evogrip 74, Helmsman, Skipper, Sentinel, Rucksack, WorkChamp, SwissChamp, Atlas, Outrider, Hunter Pro, Spartan, Sportsman. Might have missed a few.  Multi tools SwissTool and ST Spirit.

Great collection for someone who lives a few hundred meters from the salty Mediterranean, with predominant winds blowing right into my flat. Some of my decent but budget Sino-American folders turned to rusty dust. Victorinox holds up.

Nice collection! You seem to be able to limit yourself while still allow for high numbers of items. I don't think I could pull that off

With about 40 multi tools, my wife is certain that I am a bit absorbed. However, I've seen collector videos with backyard sheds with hooks all over the walls and hundreds of Vics. 40 or more Spartans! I happy with about 100 total, pocket knives and multi tools, so I have a little yet to go. Then maybe I'll get into trading, though that's not easy via international post, and there are not so many Vic collectors here. Anyway, collecting is great fun, good therapy, harmless, and cheaper than a 2nd auto, or dining out all the time.

The magic of collecting...

Yeah I am quite sure that no man needs more than 5 Spartans. No matter how pretty the scales are.
Pioneers, on the other hand...

Thank you for sharing your collection, very nice!   :tu:
I've never owned or tried a Victorinox 111 that has the hole in the main blade.  I may put that on my want to buy list.
Rest in peace ColoSwiss, you will always be remembered.

Ms Folder, you definitely should try a one-hand 111mm.... How about a Hunter XS or XT?

I will look at those models, I'm not familiar with them.  The one I do know about is the Rescue knife, I have wanted that one, but for some reason there seem to be many knock-offs of that model.
