So I accidentally(no,really!) found myself at the Vic store at Rockafeller Plaza today. I have to say I was super impressed! Unlike the Vic store in London,the staff were super friendly and helpful! The other thing I really liked was the emphasis put on SAKs,as opposed to clothes and luggage. The second thing that impressed me was how the New York special editions were sold... You can choose which knife you'd like the scales fitted to,with a choice of several New York designs!

And yes,I treated myself to a New York skyline Tinker  :facepalm:

After London, the staff in any store in the entire United States seem super friendly and helpful!

True story I also accidentally stumbled across the London store the other week, and as I happened to have an old Midnight Manager on my keychain with a cracked handle scale I went in and asked if there was anything they could do. Have to say the young lady who attended to me was wonderful, just took it away and returned it to me a few minutes later with shiny new scales - no questions,  no charge. Took a few photos while I was waiting.

I visited the Warsaw Showroom couple weeks ago and they were extremely polite and helpful, and quite focused on SAKS. Got my EDC SwissChamp new scales with an engraving. Would have probably gotten something else if budget was allowing, they had a great range of models but naturally at a common retail price, so the value would be easily acquiring rarer models.

one does not build a century old company and worldwide known product only doing good tools, it has to be fully dedicated on its customer service too!  :salute:
