Loose tweezers and toothpick
on: March 17, 2018, 10:46:01 AM
I lost a couple in the past, so now I just put a small small drop of uv glue (which I use for flytying) on the backside of it, where the first grey dot is, and the friction is now awesome and it won't come out :) Don't know if anyone else have done this, but it's a simple solution imo :)

Good idea! I've had that problem with wood scaled SAKs, but I had other knives where the toothpick was slightly larger, and that solved the problem. (Larger toothpick just from variation in production, not different models.)

I've taken to putting a drop of crazy glue on each side of the tweezers head to build it up, and then VERY gently sand it down so it's a very snug fit in the slot.
Don't get too serious, just enough will do.

That is basically the same idea but different adhesive :)

I´ve lost a few teeth over the years, but never a toothpick. Gotta work on my priorities...  :D

I had to freeze my knife to get the tweezers out and sand it down on the sides once it did.
