Nice  :tu:

I like the older SOG Toolclips, especially the coloured Micro Toolclips made by SEKI-Japan (but they are getting harder to find these days, which is to be expected considering how long they have been out of production).

Thank you. You're right, this oldstyle SOGs are really cool and in NIB-condition hard to find (here in Germany).

Nice start, CeHo! Great examples of those tools!

The early toolclip and micro tool clips from Japan were the latest tools added to my SOG collection. So, kind of reversed from yours. The PowerPlier, ParaTool, Pocket PowerPlier and U.S.A PowerLock are a must in an early SOG collection. Good luck, CeHo!

I tend to only acquire one example of each model(with PowerLock an exception), so my collections are extremely diverse, but with no focus. The trade off is that my examples may have very light signs of use and usually no packaging. I am not too worried with boxes, packaging, or paperwork; but appreciate people who do take that stuff seriously(I just have nowhere to store it. :ahhh).

This is most of my SOG stuff before I got a Seki Micro. Doubles were omitted. I will get an updated photo at some point with the Seki micro, newer micro, and crosscut.

CeHo,

Congrats on those gorgeous NIB SOGs!
I know having the box and papers came at a cost, but definitely worth it, since that is your interest!
My only SOG I have the box and papers for is the USA PowerLock with piano key locks on the tools. Really neat to see the older style packaging for sure. Hopefully we'll find some more in the future. :tu:

Yes, the only newer SOG-tool I’m looking for is a new Micro ToolClip... but it’s easy to get...

I’ll try to get a old MicroToolClip in yellow- If someone has one for swap please contact me...

IMO the green ones are the rarest, then red, then yellow.  Black are by far the most common of the SEKI-Japan originals.

But the made in China v2 versions (black, blue, green & pink) are now actually much harder to find than the originals.  I don't think they sold very well so perhaps not many were made.

The current v3 black ones are currently readily available.
