Putting all my Buck stuff together tonight while organizing. Thought about the challenge when I saw the Buck Selector. Thought it was a composite handle 110 for a minute and wondered how the challenge would have went if I used it. But, it is not a 110, it is a folding Buck "Selector" with removable blade attachments. The combo blade is ground for left hand cut, which is neat. Cool knife, but wouldn't have qualified for the challenge. Also, one if the pics is the twin(NIB) to the 110 I modified.  And the 780 Exert (walmart exclusive ) is a current favorite.

Nice collection of Bucks gerleatherberman! :like: :tu: :tu:

I can not imagine being down as you shark_za.

Time heals, yet it goes real slow while you are waiting.

Take care and good wishes for recovery without and long term effects.

Modern medicine (Orthopeadic Surgery) is so advanced these days and it looks like I will be able to get on a bike in about 4 weeks from now.

I am out of two enduro events I have been planning for over a year (Roof of Africa for one), I may be fit again for one in October.

Sorry you won't be able to participate in the 2 enduro events, but glad you will be able to get back on your bike soon shark. :salute:

 :tu: +1 Shark!!

I have removed the cast on the left Ulna break (its just a wound now after the Ti upgrades) to make life bearable; going to the doctor on Monday to change the cast to a brace on the right. Modern medicine (Orthopeadic Surgery) is so advanced these days and it looks like I will be able to get on a bike in about 4 weeks from now.

I am out of two enduro events I have been planning for over a year (Roof of Africa for one), I may be fit again for one in October.

best wishes and godspeed in your recovery!!!
Barry

Day 30 + 4 -  Returned home after long work week prepping for install conversion.
Hoping the cow birds have migrated further north, so I can put dirt out for my wife’s many varieties of woodpeckers and eastern bluebirds that visit as well.
LT did cutting duties
Also, vanity shot with wind vane

What variety that is moving through your area at this time, migrating further north maybe?

We only have Ruby Throated Hummers here in Indiana and Michigan and Ohio. Most common east of Mississippi.
Usually start appearing around May 10 - 15th

Calliope. (98% sure)

Rufus show up a bit later.

This seems a bit early for them. I saw some hummingbirds down in New Mexico last week, but I didn't think they'd show up here for another few weeks, at least.
