I hope your son is ok.
My Walmart says limited stock...

Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

At this point, I might be willing to send you $, have you pick one up and send it to me. Unreal I can't get my hands on one in the New England Market

I will try to get there tonight. I’m up in Cincinnati at the Children’s Hospital right now. My son is getting a drug infusion via IV. Won’t be done for a few more hours then I have the two hour drive home.

The shipping cost would be almost $8 probably, if I used USPS Priority Mail in a flat rate box.

At that rate you can probably get one cheaper at Cabelas?

Think it over...

+1,  :like:

You should enjoy having the option for a lightweight and a true classic.

Blade is as sharp and blade quality can not be beat.  If you bought the LT at a Wally world outlet, you can not beat the price.

Report back.

Take care!

So my 110 is now 41 years old! My 112 is 42 (carried it first, USCG)
In great shape, new sheaths and one of those nylon tactical ones!
BUT can't carry in the city (even by me, is technically "NYC")
So maybe I should try to ............

Are they still arresting people for having a “gravity knife” up there?  stupidest thing I have ever seen. Cop grabs the blade, sometimes with pliers even and flicks the handle out and boom, you have a gravity knife. I got around it on my trip with a Case linerlock knife. It had an extended tang-ish to open the blade one handed. Too tight to flick open, blade was too smoth to grab and do the drop test.

That's crazy! At that point your limited to a Vic classic. What is the world coming to. :dunno: even now in the CG there are limitations on what sized knife you can carry for a fixed blade, I can't even carry my kabar on board ship due to it being to big

Boat crews used to even have those USAF survival kinves with the little sharpener stone.
Everyone had a 112 or 110 on their belt. And you heard crap if you Didn't have a knife (locking!!) on deck.
Survival bag had a orange switch blade, always missing (possibly Camilus or Imperial) but kinda cheap... that "Bat belt" was before the vests, comical....
Oh... be safe Coastie and please join The American Legion, at this rate,  maybe Knife Rights!!

Truth be told, I've never minded the weight of a Buck 110 or large mutli.  Long distance hikers are renowned for paring away ounces and grams to achieve very light loads, and I appreciate that, but a good tool is worth it's weight in my opinion.  :tu:

don't need to crack these "Catania" nuts, they're boxed and chocolate covered already,
but the 110 still remains a pocket companion, with its shiny bolsters it leaves no one indifferent
