Homemade copper bead. Made out of gauge 10 electrical cable. With some silver solder to keep it together... :)

I am also very happy about the fact the the Copperhead fits into my SKINTH pocket organizer... its new home; since Copperhead has become officially my EDC tool. PERIOD

Stoneshank, are you familiar with goat fencing or page wire fence?
If not google them and you’ll quickly learn how to tighten steel wire, from there it is a short jump to making beads. Perhaps i could make a video and demonstrate the steps necessary.

I am glad you like Greg, it is even nicer in hand...it’s hard to describe. I already have a few scratches on the copper just from pocket carry yesterday... we alll knew that was coming, it will look good and worn in no time...patina... :)

This was the most crazy GAW I can ever remember on MTo

Thanks to Marc for running it - and everyone for entering - and of course Syph for making the amazing creation - And congrats to our winner and thanks for his generous offer
Now my anal/stupid bit      .... Sorry

...........
The winning entry does relate to Robert’s work, the Naval environment in the early days of my career lamping out ships, my love of “raw” metals for EDC. The winning entry also brought me back to my early rock/blues days.

Of course I get the reference to Syph's work and also raw materials
I even now know why someone posted a photo of a snake !!

But can you please explain the naval and rock/blues references - What is lamping out a ship ??? -  I am guessing there was a band called Copperhead ??

Thanks

Certainly,

In 1976, when I joined the Navy and moved halfway across the country, at the same time I developed/discovered Rock and Blues since many of my new buddies were fans already....I was like a sponge... :)

As a young Tech, standing Electrician watches...we would walk around the ship with a canvas bag full of different “bulbs” or lamps; changing the “burned out” ones. This went on 24/7...

Copper also played a big role in my life as an electrician...it is a good conductor of electricity.  :D

Not really, but I can't think out be too hard if given instruction, right ? YouTube is my friend so many times !

Did syph make the scales ?

Yes Syph007 made the scales from Titanium and copper. Additionally he combined two knives into one as requested. Syph also performed all of the machining and fitting required to reassemble the new SAK with Post and Screws in lieu of brass rods that are peened.

If you're in a different state than your stereo you might not be able to hear it properly silly.
