Morrow & Lamb Custom Tools - Crony
on: November 15, 2008, 12:44:09 AM
Refer to the following thread for information regarding the tool and its construction.  If you have any questions or comments, please post them here:
http://forum.multitool.org/index.php/topic,7538.0.html

This thread is going to be a way for us to gauge how many people would be interested in these.  Just post here if you would like to buy one (or more) in this thread.  Its obviously not going to be a binding contract or anything lol, but just an idea who's interested.

We are too far away from being able to tell the prices of these, but its not going to be terribly expensive.

-Dough

EDIT - We're probably looking at a cost of 20-35 dollars out-the-door price, but as i said thats nowhere near final, but use thats as a judgement if you would still be interested.

P.S. The design isn't finalized yet, so jump in the thread above to add your own input!

It does depend on the cost though.

Is the magnifying glass really necessary? would change the round magnifying lens hole in to a bottle opener and would try to incorporate a can opener on the pry bar.

There's a bottle opener next to the prybar head....

I'll have a better idea after the passaround.  :)

Much as I like magnifiers I'm not convinced this is the kind of tool for one. Just my 2p

Well guys, I'm headed back to school tonight.  The passaround is nearing completion if I'm correct, and once its done I would really like to try and gather everyones opinions who was involved with the tool and see if we can streamline the design a bit.  Then we have to work out a few kinks (such as how were going to attach the magnifying glass, if we decide to pursue that option).  Then we will start production.  I appreciate your patience on this guys, I know its been a couple months, but we are trying to make this thing perfect the first time around and want to make sure we do things properly.  We also have to balance our difficult college classes too  ::).  Hope you all stay interested, as I am SUPER excited about this project.
