I have already ordered the Victorinox Finlandia Guide, however, as you might guess, I will have to wait until we get the winner of the Jääkäripuukko GAW, so I can order it since we have the choice of 110 or 140 mm one  :cheers:

I have never had this model SAK, believe it or not, (a huntsman?  :think:) and I won't say no to blue scales, which would also be my first ever. I've had black, grey, red, white and pictured, but no blue.

I have never had this model SAK, believe it or not, (a huntsman?  :think:) and I won't say no to blue scales, which would also be my first ever. I've had black, grey, red, white and pictured, but no blue.

I´ve never been to Finland unfortunately. Maybe one day.

A friend and I did a motorcycle trip through Sweden though. Nearly 3000 km through a beautiful countryside. We camped at public campings, if possible. Not every camping would allow us since we were identified as Hell´s Angels, even if we rode Japanese bikes and didn´t wear any colors. What struck me was the complete absence of rain and gnats, because I was expecting lots of both. If I remember correctly, this was in August.

My grandfather (or great grandfather I'm not sure) was from Finland. They were both gone from this earth before I arrived,  but my father always spoke well of his dad.

I've been checking reviews of this thing online and it really seems to be a workhorse for the money...May is so far away, and IF I win I'd be lucky if it arrived before summer was over. Not complaining,  mind you. Just speaking factually.

Does anyone know where these can be purchased here in the US? I'm itching to get my hands on one
