Day 15

Very busy day with work, but a very quiet one for the Juice, so just a photo from earlier for today.

Day 05

It's the weekend so my Juice did kitchen duties. I sharpened the can opener tool to have an edge. I used the file to do this. This made opening a can much better than the first time.

Day 16

Had to remove a couple of nails from the wall. One was easy to pull out by hand, but the other one was pretty stubborn - and very uncomfortable to squeeze with fingers - so the Juice's pliers came into play the first time in this challenge. Job done.

Well, fortunately it wasn't THAT stubborn, so I did not need to use the plier as a lever, I only needed it to grip and pull. I mean at least I take it yours got bent while the plier head provided leverage pressed against the surface. But of course correct me if I imagined it wrong.

Day 06

Juice helping me replace the cellidor scales of my Champion plus with a custom wood burl scales I got from a friend modder in Bali, Indonesia. The small driver is helpful in prying out the old scales. My Champion now looks awesome!

Day 17

I've been posting left and right on the forum this afternoon, but almost forgot the challenge post. :) No task for the Juice today, but a photo and a question: is this corkscrew bent a bit outwards or is it not? I can't decide. ??? I mean it looks like it's leaning outwards a bit, but I don't have anything to compare it to. Is it like by default from the factory or did this come from carry/(ab)use?

EDIT: Added two, better pictures.

Thanks Matt! :tu: And it makes sense, as the can opener has to fit somewhere and that pushes the corkscrew out a bit, also, looking down right into the spiral it looks straight, still, closed it just looks a bit weird, so it was impossible to figure out if it's okay or not, but now I can sleep well. :) I can't push it in like that though, but I guess I can live with that. :D

I'm keen on reading your thoughts about the bulk of your Juice at the end of our challenge

For my Day 21, used the scissors to nip a ziptie

Day 07

Today is the last day of my challenge. I did not have the chance to use my Juice today but I took it out this morning for an outdoor shot in the yard. I thought it will be good to give my reflection of carrying the Juice as my EDC for 7 straight days.

What I like of the Juice

Size and width. I like the Juice to carry in my pocket. Not so thick and not too long as well. As an EDC, this is my first criteria—how comfortable the MT is inside my pocket. I am liking its size and thickness so far.

Pliers—I really like it knowing that whenever I need the plier, I have something dependable inside my pocket to do the job. When I repaired my partner’s broken eyeglasses—I used the pliers to straighten the frame before fixing it.

Blade- I am really impressed with the razor sharp blade. It cuts through paper and packaging like cheese. And they stay sharp for long.

Cork screw—I really like to use the CS of the Juice with the can opener used to hold on to a bottle to give that extra leverage. I did not had a chance to do this week. I think this will make this a better CS than the SAK. But I don’t know. I need to test it in the later days.

What I missed from carrying a SAK instead of this Juice

Scissors—for an EDC, I really think an MT has to have a scissors. Maybe I should swap this version of the Juice for a version with scissors.

The can opener—needs to be sharpen a bit to have that ability to make initial cut into the can. I have sharpened mine and I have experienced a huge difference. But I still like the can opener of the SAK—it leaves smooth edges on the can.

Overall, I like my experience and I will probably trade my Juice C2 for a version with more tools specially one with the scissors. I like to keep the CS though.

Thanks to an0nemus and good luck to all mates who are still continuing this challenge.

Day 18

Got new allergy medication today, used the Juice's scissors to cut two pills off the blister, one to each of my two pill containers, just in case.

Well done, MrWilson! And yeah, I agree about scissors, a non-specialezed type multitool isn't complete for me witout them either. (How silly is that they left them off of the Rebar for example?)
