Niiicceee! I'll be waiting for your feedback about carrying via caddy

---

For my Day 27, opened a clam shell package with the still sharp blade and installed this motion activated LED lights

What kinds of brand is that pocket slip and where do I find it? Been looking around for a practical solution other than suspension clips for everything. All I find is expensive leather versions so far
Sweet Spydie!

---

For my Day 26, nothing much today so I'm showing the caddy I use this month for the Challenge. I don't particularly like it as it's smooth and the Juice slips out easily. Flashlight on left, pen on right

Why don't you try my solution, the one I just showed in the last post? Just like you I'm not really into pocket clips, so today I tried my hand at sewing. My "caddy" doesn't look nice, but for a first try its okay, and just as functional as a professionally manufactured one. Others also made their own caddies here on MTO, I remember seeing a few home-made ones. So I guess you should just it a try.  :)

Actually, I'm sure that even a seamstress would make one for you dirt cheap, if you're really not up to sewing yourself.

Totally agree! Although I bought mine for $5, I think anyone can do it if one is comfortable sewing

Just as for Day 28, I DIYd my own phone stand from a plastic bottle of Pepsi. This I use when watching YouTube inside the hospital

Day 25

I used the large flathead driver to tighten the loose knob on the lid of our coffe canister and the PE blade to cut up some bacon for cooking.

I love bacons! Ate nothing but bacons for breakfast for a week while in Bangkok last year. Yummy!

For Day 29, nothing special but cut some lose thread on a shirt

Day 26

No task for the Juice today, but the Mrs. made me two new pocket caddies, much better than my "prototype" from the other day. :salute: One for a SAK plus a multi or wide profile folder and one with two wide slots. I guess I'm all set for pocket carrying anything now.  :)

Wow! They do look more attractive!

---

For my Day 30, I didn't use the Juice but my doctor friend did. He visited my mom in the hospital and noticed that a needle needed to be replaced in one of the tubes. He turned to me and asked if I had pliers. Of course!

I pulled out my S2 and he was able to replace the needle.

I do consider this as a life saving intervention as my mom is still hooked into so many tubes.

Even though it's my Day 30, I don't consider this as my last day. I'll accompany Exeter until he too finishes our 30 day Challenge

I realised I have a Nite Ize belt sheath. I cut away all the extra layers and then lowered the brim, about 2cm too far sadly. The pen barely reassures down with its clip bit the rest of the edc stuff fits nicely! Flashlight, squirt and huntsman.

Didn't make it from scratch but it works!

Condolences, an0nemus, sorry about your mom!

Day 28

I tried cutting up a huuuge apple with the Juice, but this particular apple was so big and dense that it was really testing the limits of the blade, but managed to deal with it in the end.

Not a bad solution at all. Bit of a shame you cut it too low for the pen, but I know these kinds of mistakes all too well, it happens. :) As a matter of fact my design is flawed in that way as well. This pretty short pen hardly clips on to the "caddy", and I even pushed it a bit lower for the photo than it would stand in the pocket naturally.

Great work on the sheath mods, guys. This is the reason why I carry a ballpen half the size of regular ones
