Day 3

It's a very nice and sunny day here, so this being the Juice challenge, after getting home I decided to test the micro flat driver on glasses or sunglasses to be precise. The Juice's smallest flat driver was a hair wider than the slot itself, but I was able to turn the screw with no problem at all. Admittedly it's a pair of cheap shades with bigger and not really precise hardware, but it worked. Usually I would have reached for a Vic's corkscrew micro driver, but the Juice's one is an adequate substitute. (Size comparison of the two drivers included for those how don't happen to own a Juice.)

I didnt even realize that the smallest SD is capable of doing that! Great to know since my S2 has the same SD and I wear glasses  :tu:

Great pics guys :like: and don't worry to much about the rust an0n as I have had several LM do that over the years :salute: Just oil it really good and work it and keep doing that until the rust stops leaking out and you should be fine
That's really a relief to know, Poncho! Thanks. Wilco

For my Day 7, eating apple and this I'm more comfortable with using a utility knife for this

Day 4

The same here, but with scissors.  :) They struggled a bit where I cut into the packaging tape too, but did the job.

The Pioneer X scissors are superior than our Juices', but at least we have them

Day 5

No task for the Juice today, not even an apple to peel, so just a nice outdoor photo from the spring garden.

Agreed. But Juice scissors work when needed.  :tu:

Indeed

For my Day 10, found use for the bottle-can opener tool by using it to punch holes on my microwavable lunch

Day 6

Discovered some small dents on my Golfer's liner, used the Juice's diamond file to even them out a bit. Barely, but I could reach them. Sorry about the crappy pics, I wanted to make a before-after pair, but the before pic turned out to be out of focus. I'd need something with better macro capabilites. (I struggled with the micro screwdrivers pics as well.) I'm not even sure you can see what I was trying to show.  :-\

Day 7

Package opening again, a nice little haul from our friend ThePeacent arrived today. He wrapped it so well that the Juice really had its work cut out. And just to keep up with an0nemus, I got a SAK as well.

And about the finger: nothing serious at all, only some small cut on my knuckle, I just didn't wan to leave bloodstains on my clothes or on the furtniture accidentally. Already healed up overnight, really a small booboo.  ;)

For my Day 12, it's extra special as I just received Jaya's GAW! And he wrapped them so well that my S2 enjoyed the unpacking a lot!

Thank you again, Jaya and MTO!

Day 8

The can opener was put to the test with a can of tomato paste. The Juice can opener (bottle opener, wine bottle leverage foot combo) isn't the best, especially with small cans like this, and clearly a distant fourth behind the Victorinox, the Wenger and the traditional Leatherman openers (I prefer the style of the latter two), but does the job anyway - I wouldn't even say "in a pinch", but if you have other options, choose one of those. :)

Oh, and nice patches there an0nemus and of course Jaya!

Thanks, Exeter! I'm really digging the patches, but had to laugh a little because I used a Leatherman to open the patches' packing :D

I'll definitely open a can within this Challenge to understand better what you mean

---

For my Day 13, I used my S2 to open a package-- my first tacpen, a $9 Fura!

Day 9

Kitchen duty again for the Juice, as I did with the Rebar in my previous challenge, I tried it on dry sausage. Very effortless and clean cuts with the serrated blade, no complaints at all. Compared to the Rebar, I like that the Juice's blades are a bit thicker, they feel stronger and I feel I have bit more control.

Great challenge and good read guys   :like:

As for the can opener it helps to put a slight edge onto it. On my Juice I made it more pointy to the front end so it can easily pinch a hole. But let it wider at the back so it still works great as bottle opener.

I sharpened mine as well, but I wasn't as smart about it as you, so I shrarpened the edge all the way. :) Although as I recall I was able to open a bottle with it without any difficulty. Maybe I'll test that again in this challenge.
