Unsure if I posted this before.
About a year ago while merchandising for Waremart in Ontario, OR had seen this one man's flashlight that was attached to his belt with a clip. Looked to be about 8 inches long, and looked like a basic flashlight - unsophisticated tubular format, the normal reflector, but it had (if I recall) 5 individual LEDs on the side. And it had a magnetic base.
Was talking with the man and he said was powered by 3 AAA batteries, one of the tri-battery holders that most have. He thinks he got it from MAC Tools many years ago, and of course would not turn loose of the light.
So have been searching online every so often in search of this thing. Have seen many other varieties, but the light in question was about 6 to 8 inches long, quite compact, and used/house older LEDs - not these new panel versions seen out now. So he had various light settings for notmal lighting, and one or two for the side lighting.
This type of light would be perfect for mechanic work, and even merchandising.
Anyone seen such a device??
