I agree with some of your points...I disagree with the corruptness of Europe and think that small individual nations increase our culture and diversity...and as mentioned above you were wronincluded in the UK area, hence I was merely making the differentiation of Country

well i tried to say that i dont like that we were cheated to this expensive system that only services needs of multinational companies and aims just to make profit to elite-class,nothin else

I would like to look at the prototype - USA

The prototypes are FINALLY done ( the semester has been killing me!)  Some update on the part

Bad news, we are not allowed to use our machine shop for making parts as a profit, so we will have to outsource the waterjet cutting, which might bump the price a LITTLE bit, I have to run the numbers.  We might just take the hit on the profit and keep the price the same for you guys.  Here are several things DIFFERENT between the prototype and the final product.

1. The prototype is softer, plain carbon steel.  This means the prototype WILL rust, and WILL strip when trying to turn screws or bolts that are way too tight.  The final part will be 440C stainless steel, and these problems will NOT be evedent in the final part.  This is probably the most important difference.

2.  The final part will have a 2" and 5 cm scale scribed into the material.  We are still working out the best way to go about this, but we wanted to send out the prototypes before you all lost interest!

3. We kinda screwed up the grinding operations on the prybars.  We will build fixtures for our production pieces, so the grinding will be perfect and repeateable for every part. 

4.  We are still debating wether or not to put the magnifying glass in, so the large HOLE in the part is where it would go. 

There are a couple pictures attached of the prototypes that are being sent out for the pass around.

ATTENTION!!!! IF I DONT HAVE YOUR ADDRESS BY THE END OF TODAY, YOU WILL BE BUMPED TO THE BOTTOM OF THE LIST AND/OR REMOVED COMPLETELY!  So send me your address if you ahvent already, casue these are going out soon.  I dont care how you guys ship them between each other, but please at least ship with a tracking number or delivery confirmation.  I really dont want one or both of these to dissappear and have it turn into a "I SENT IT TO THE NEXT GUY" and the next guy says "I NEVER RECEIVED IT FROM THE LAST GUY!!!".  Nobody wants that!  Ok, so send me your address, check out the tool, ship if off quick to the next guy ( an address list will be included ), and post your feedback!  Thanks guys, and I hope you like em!

Hey guys!

In order for you guys to know the product a little better before you decide if you want one, I'm going to make a couple metal prototypes, either from steel like the final product or from aluminum.  This will be just for you guys to see what it feels like, get a better grip on the size, and see the functions yourself.  I'm gonna try to make 2 of them,  one for us Yanks and one for our friends across the pond.  If you're interested just sign up and say whether you're in the US or UK.  We'll make the two lists, and I'll send the tools to the first on each list.  Then, that person looks at it for a day or two and then sends it off to the next on the list (you guys will pay the shipping to send it back out).  Once it gets to the last person on the list, theyll send it on back to me.  Hopefully we can get it to circulate quickly so everyone gets a feel for the tool before we start producting them in quantity.

It came in today and I started a new thread on it.  I already have a few ideas/mods/different tools that I will hash out over the weekend.  All in all not bad so far, I will definetly buy one.
