Custom Pocket Clips for MTs/Saks/Knives.

Pocket clips are useful, at least to a big number of us. Not everyone/everyday we can have a sheath on the belt.

I do not like to just drop things into the pocket. Doesn't quite like the feeling of things hanging and banging around loosely. That's the reason I do not wear boxers.. :P

I would think nothing is impossible with some creative thinking. Everyone may have a different approach to making things work. Lets see some ideas on custom pocket clip on tools.

I will start off with some when i can get to a computer.  :cheers:

Some of the more common tools that had been added pocket clips. Some ideas are not original and picked off all over from the WWW. Different people do them with different methods. What's yours? I Still have a OG Wave lying somewhere..

I use this to keep it hanging in my pocket. As you can see in pic nr 2 it hardly shows, if ignoring the Vic lanyard I added. It also has a bottle opener, sidenote.

 Is found as "suspension clip" on Evilbay. Other suspension clips are to be find there too.

But if you want to add a proper clip on it then one cheap way to do it is to buy low grad quality folder knives on eBay. Sorry buy "buy now", "lowest price+ postage" and scroll around. The ones I find are around a dollar and three, which is a rather ok price for a clip.

Probably a better post how to go about it somewhere though. I'm sure I didn't figure it out myself!

Nice. I think I am going to get one of these. It looks really simple and minimalistic from outside the pocket,

one of the basic feats for me in a tool or knife is a good pocket clip



and the Diesel, Rebar, Spirit and SOGs would be carried much more if they had a clip,  :ahhh
the ones I carry most are clippable ones (Wave, Surge and BlackTip/Blast with clip mod)



and those that are pocketable in size and can easily be hung via a pocket hanger, like the Rebar or MINI!  :ahhh



I definitely recommend the P7 clip and similar pieces that can be found for cheap on eBay   :salute:

I just discovered this thread while looking for DIY pocket clip ideas.



The clip came from a cheap Mossy Oak MT. I had to drill a hole in the handle for a metal nub on the clip to fit into. This prevents rotation.

Small clip added to my custom Juice. I really dig the minimal nature and the fact that it matches the finish of the stainless frame with the aluminum scales removed.
