Harry Anderson passed away
on: April 17, 2018, 12:54:02 PM
He was Harry the Hat on Cheers, a wisecracking magician freeloader always looking to swindle drinks from Sam Malone, he was Dave Barry in Dave's World, the only time he didn't play someone named Harry but he was best known as Judge Harold T. Stone on Night Court, one of my all time favorite TV shows in the history of ever.

Harry was a brilliant comedy magician and, even though he played himself for the most part in Night Court, it was never totally about him.  I've already been missing him as he hasn't done much lately, and now I am sad to hear that he has passed at the tender age of 65.

RIP to a great actor, comedian, magician and an all around great guy.

Wow, almost same age!
He was always entertaining and Night Court was a favorite.

Famous passings seem to occur in threes, two down, who is next?

Just like in the episode where Judge Stones clothes get thrown out thw window, that picture of Mel Torme on the shelf is like

 :o  right now

Man, I used to love Night Court. He was great, and so was everyone else in it. Slapstick, silly fun stuff.

What a bummer.

You mention shows I grew up watching, don't remember much but I found Dave's World extremely funny....never missed it.

This is what started it all.

Dave's World was good, but he wasn't playing himself like he did in Cheers and Night Court.

Think he was in the original IT. I watched a lot of Night Court when I was young. Sad to see the judge gone.
