You can get a lot more SAKs for the money you would spend on a single MT...you could easily buy 7 used SAKs from Tim for the price of a mid-priced MT!
I think my first obsessive collecting began as a small child as was rocks, crystals and fossils. As a teen it progressed to comics and lighters - I still have most of those. Then over the years it was guitars which was perfectly justifiable due to work These days it's SAKs and random MTs and knives (mostly SOG & LM). I also have quite a few watches and pens which I love, nothing really spendy, just nice shiny ones that I fall for mostly!
My house collects dust does that count?
Used to be an avid Warhammer 40K collector.

I collect mt's of course, knives, and Triumph items. Any of our U.K. members got any interesting Triumph items?
I used to collect watches, but I sold most of them. Now I collect SAK's and although I don't have very much compasses yet, compasses are also objects that I seem to collect.
