I just remembered that there's a carbiner badge, so why not go for it and show how and where I use mine.

I have a small, locking S-biner connecting my key organizer and my other keychain stuff, I use the same type as an anti-theft device on the zipper on my fannypack. I have a pill container hanging on a carabiner in one of my messenger bags, and I have a mini LED light on a carabiner on my other bag.

I'm not really backpacking nowadays, but I also used to carry my flask attached to my hiking backpack with a carabiner, it's still on it, just in case.

I use a NiteIze locking #4 for carrying keys on my front, right belt loop. Not my main keys but my keys I only use every so often. Over time it seems the locking feature fails about twice a week but I’m still not to concerned about losing anything.
