I was a bit disappointed at first, but... the site says Berryred. Since the other red is called Red.
So I expect them to be BVery, BVery red.

I was tempted to order one, but will take a look in store before I pull the trigger on this one. I'm not going to buy a regular red limited edition, just because it's a limited edition. I've got to much on my wishlist for that.

Someone on one of the other threads posted this pic.  It's sufficiently different than the standard red for me, so I have a Cadet and a Pioneer coming.

Since there is. A finite amount of steel in the world isn't every run limited?  Also that word can mean something that falls short.  Likei can't hit 160 km/hr in my civic, it's very limited. 

Always thought over use of that term was weird.

I'd call it something like 'select'

Ah. Here's my chance to spend $52 on a Pioneer that does NOT have scissors. I like the color, but I'll probably pass and pick up some red Alox somewhere in the For Sale threads.

Jesus H. Smurf, that's a lot of money for a Swiss army knife with such a basic tool set. I mean, the Swiss Champ is what, $80 us? I'd have to be awfully enamored with a specific color to pay that in this day and age. Maybe 20 years from now all prices will be like that, but today...?

The company Victorinox and its SAKs have outstanding qualities. :SAKnight:
but with the current creative design of alox scales would definitely be more possible!   :rant:

The reason i didn't order one last week was because i thought it was red and i have other red ones so was going to pass this year, if its the Orangey red one on the left of that pic that changes things  :like:

Wouldn't it be nice if the shield was the traditional shade of red, so you could actually see the contrast?

My 2018 LE's arrived today.  When I first opened them up I was thinking they were right in the middle of orange and red, but with them all lined up together I have to say the new Berry Red color is definitely closer to regular red than it is to regular orange.   I still really like the color, though.

Those two on the right look damn near identical to me. Which one of those two is the new color, and which is the old? (I am guessing new color is in the middle, but that is just based off the logical way I would arrange the SAKs if I was taking the shot, not because I can tell the damn difference in color.) Why did Vic make the special edition color this year so... not special?  :think:
