Of course you do. This is MTo.org, after all.

The only minor problem is, it's a hack. You'll have to build one yourself ;) :D

But, honesty demands I point out that the VX does not have a cap lifter, as I just rediscovered :cheers:

Nice! :like:

Day 27: Had to run a wire through the wall. Used the pad to cut the wire. The SOG jaw cutter portion makes one cut on 16-3 like a hot knife through butter.

Day 28

Not much going on today
But I did have a hook that needed
to be removed with the pliers
As it’s not needed anymore and
keep getting caught on it with my clothes

No problems with using the pliers  :tu:

Day 28

Getting close to the end of this challenge...

Checklist is almost completed, only the final task remaining.
These couple of days we're traveling, so again a beauty shot, this time in the hotel bathroom.

PS Have I told y'awl how much I have come to loathe the velcro on the sheath?

To keep my sanity, I have convinced myself, it is a gravity flap sheath.

The store didn't have the capped sodas I went for, but I did put another hole in an old work belt (from my heavier days) with the awl. It worked fairly well.

The moderately good news is, it seems that the velcro was added to the sheath in the last assembly step. People with a sewing machine and a supply of good quality sew-on velcro should have little trouble implementing an improved closure. As to the last, anyone know of a reliable online source? Because the rest of the sheath suits my needs...

that belt looks strong, it will surely hold a lot of load  :like:

3M makes a good stick-on velcro that can easily sewed on. My observations have led me to think the hook side on the PAD sheath has hooks that are too small. The loop side sticks to my maglite sheath hook side quite well.

 indeed, it is good for imitating Batman's belt.  :D

I wish that the popper that’s on
the back of the pouch was on the flap
I don’t like the popper on the back
I found that the popper undone
itself 4 times when sitting down
Throughout the challenge  :ahhh :ahhh

Day 29

Today, a pic of how I avoid that the snap button on the back opens when you sit down ;)

Notice how the loop flap sits under the lower transversal webbing and is thus less subject to being lifted off.
