Umpf...

2 days ago I dreamt about an 84mm SAK with wood saw or metal saw.
Today I have both...

Uuuuhm...

Production models, right?

That red Voyageur does sound good and looks awesome...
A Minichamp red Alox.
A Yeoman
...

I'm satisfied!

For now..

Edit:
A Midshipman or First Mate! :ahhh
Or anything else Alox with Marlin Spike...

Master Craftsman with blue Alox Scales
Pre 1960 Pioneer/Soldier prototype with smooth aluminium scales (not shure if the scales was anodised)
Voyageur red with ribbed scales
Voyageur red with smooth scales and old crossshield
Red Soldier 75 Elsener
75mm Alox Beginner NIB
58mm Dogbone red with cross in a circle
...
some Alox Bicolors
some 93mm OC with advertisings
some smooth 84mm Alox with advertisings
If you want to be happy, be.

Just a matter of time I suppose.  The only thing with your list, like mine, is how much they will cost when they are found.

Of course my collection is far from complete. However I have enough SAKs to last me several lifetimes. I may get a few more, but the Boatsman is the one for me atm.

I know, right!?  This top 10 list is hopefully a reminder to myself to not go off and buy fun shiny SAKs and try to focus on the ones I really want.
Full disclosure, it hasn't worked yet, I already bought a SAK that's not on the list this morning.

Nothing special for me,

I have almost a dozen SAKs already. I don't carry a lot of them. My 30 year old Super Tinker's been to hell and back, so that's just sitting. Vic plyers are not as good as the Leatherman I always carry, so I tend to leave the 2012 Deluxe Tinker home as well. I like my 1984 Explorer so much that I never carry the post-'91 Huntsman. My mid 80's Mountaineer is cool but so old I don't carry it much either. The 80's black scaled metal inlay BSA Tinker is really less useful than many of the afore mentioned models, so I carry my new silver alox Pioneer in its place. I like my 2017 nylon scaled Camper, but only carry it paired with my Leatherman PS4 when going ultra light. The Champion Plus is usually in my day pack...an my dog has the 2017 BSA Classic on his collar...so, all I'm really interested in right now are

1)Trekker - one hand or regular (or similar, like an old Rucksack or GAK or similar 111mm)
2)Farmer in red alox
3)Champion A or B...I already have a C
Or...

4)if and when the day comes that Victorinox makes the regular 91mm models but with Alox scales, peens and all, I'd sure be interested in something like that. Imagine a Huntsman or Fieldmaster with alox red scales...maybe someday
5)maybe a birth year Soldier, but I'm not flipping over it, as my current Pioneer is more or less the same

That's all for me, and that's a stretch.

I used to have 1 and only 1 swiss army knife - that Super Tinker. And 1 or 2 Leathermans - a PSTII  and a Micra in my keys. I went on like this for years and years. In 2012 I damaged my Super Tinker so bad, I got the Tinker Deluxe as a gift.

Oh, and I had a Browning lockback model 810, which I got 20+ years ago as an alternate to a Buck 110.

I really only started gathering more and more of these after buying an original version Leatherman Surge off of Craigslist. It needed a bit and retention spring and I came here last June looking for parts.

Since then, I have amassed a Buck 110 EcoLite papers tone, 8 more SAKS and 10 or so more Leathermans.

I sure can't complain for not having any Swiss Army Knives.

Important point. I have to specify:
By "find" I mean automatically for relatively little money.
If money did not matter, it would be easy to find these knives

93mm Pioneer from Thailand with Elephant on scale

I have never even heard of that, but it sounds pretty cool! Does anyone have a picture of such a SAK?

Sorry if I went off on a bit of a tangent there, Folder. I was typing stream of consciousness. I had thought I could easily name ten, and as I went through the process, I realized I actually wanted less.

Both Sanford and Little Honey are both great names for a Beagle. They've been my favorite dog since the 80's. I had three growing up and for a long stretch had no dog at all. Finally got Scout (The ThundaBeagle) 3 and a half years ago.

Beagles are so easy to love. I bet Sanford was the best!

No worries at all, you didn't ramble, I like to read people's thoughts on subjects.
We had Sanford in the 70s.  I think Sanford and Son was a TV show then and my brother named him Sanford.  Little Honey was great at sharing his love with all of us, we all wanted his attention.
I never did get another Beagle, but I would take one in anytime.  I just happen to have 2 rescue Pits right now...talk about calm, loving dogs, it's all in the way they're raised.

Whatever the reputation,  I've not met a Pit that wasn't sweet. Maybe one, but what happened to that dog would've made any dog upset. So, effectively, none of the Pits I've met have been mean or aggressive. I agree, it's how they are raised.

Scout is an energetic bundle of joy. Indominable on the trail. One day soon I hope to breed Scout and make a generation of Super Beagles.

This thread, as short as it has been so far, has illustrated to me just how much I have, and how little I need.

Funny to consider, most folks who have one, go through life with one, maybe two Swiss Army Knives.
