At last, the hook saw some proper and successful practical use. I was mixing my e-liquid for my e-cig, when that little ring on the neck of the bottle securing the cap before first removal (I don't even have an idea what it's called in my native tongue, let alone in English) fell into my mixing bottle. I used the hook to fish it out. (I had to tilt the bottle a bit to reach it, but couldn't document that, I only have two hands.
) I guess this qualifies for a badge as well.
I only used a hook on my SAK once before, in that case I tried its intended use: lifting a six-pack of mineral water bottles, but the plastic handle - actually just a sticky tape slapped onto the nylon case - broke right away and I dropped the whole thing.
