Yep, all of those things irritate me as well. I have seen many complaints about the size of an item when it would take only a couple seconds of research. There's at least one Amazon review of a 91mm SAK where they complain it's too big because they apparently thought every SAK was a Classic.

When I had my business fixing computers I had one client who ran a small business that supplied patches and enamel badges.

She worked from a spare bedroom in her house and her entire business was one computer with Corel Draw where she designed the badge or patch, she then emailed the design through to a company in China who made the items and shipped them to her. She then repackaged and shipped to the customer.

This crowd sound a bit the same, I wouldn't be surprised if the person you dealt with on FB messenger was a Ben alias and the Director was Ben and some of the other reviewers were Ben too...

Since there is such interest in 10th Anniversary patches, I have requested a quote from another company.  If I can get them done ASAP for a reasonable price I will pull the trigger on them. 

Otherwise this ship has sailed- I don't want to still be trying to sell 10th Anniversary patches on our 12th Anniversary... :P

Just an update to this thread:

A couple of months ago I was contacted by TCP again, apologizing for the earlier problems, and begging me to give them another chance.  Naturally I was resistant, because let's face it, they screwed up literally every part of the previous order, from manufacturing, to communication to shipping to refunding the money... absolutely none of it went the way any successful transaction should go.

But, I was impressed that they would even have the gumption to try contacting me after such a monumental failure, and both Megan and Micah suggested giving them another shot- especially since the price they were offering was VERY attractive.  What are the odds they would screw it up twice?  I mean, if they are going the distance to try and make it right then they will probably pay close attention the second time around, right?

Apparently not.

They sent me a sample image (pictured below), and I have heard nothing from them for several weeks now.  And, I have to say, the samples don't even look that good, especially when compared to the patches we do have from a patch company that actually makes the patches people order! 

I've decided to write this off as another complete failure on their part, and have some fun with them again.  I've been messaging them on FB and they haven't been responding and I think I may decide to write another public review of them!   >:D

Meanwhile of course, as I fully expected this company to fail again (hard to be disappointed when you have such low expectations to begin with!) I have been working on a different set of patches with the company that did the last ones, and I think you are all going to love what we've come up with!
