You have great taste Ron  :like:

I used to be a fan until Fish left the band. I knew their albums by heart, went to see some live concerts, bought a few tour T-shirts and the like.
Fish visits my hometown now and then. There´s an Irish pub here that he likes a lot; it´s called Poitin. Sometimes he sings a few songs.

You do what you have to do, Mags. Life´s more important than yet another SAK mod.  :salute:

So I built the dual locking 111mm I wanted to go for the 130mm but the donors are pricier than Vic 111mm.  Also, you can do steel pivots and use the bushings and use the normal scales.

So the state of play as of today is;

1st layer - PE main blade/combo tool (still in transit) and corkscrew

2nd layer - wood saw

3rd layer - SE main blade/PE small blade and multi purpose hook.

Hook needs some minor fettling and then it's peening time.  :ahhh

In an earlier post I named the mod a MiniFireman, but that name is too long. MiniMan it´ll be.  8) Or MiniMags.  8) 8)

Well it's ready and packed for sending.

I wasnt happy with the hook and because you said you weren't bothered about it I replaced it with the awl which is inaccessible but fills the back side nicely and gives excellent tension to the spring.

I hope you enjoy using it as much as I enjoyed building it Ron  :salute:

I couldn't get it to the point where I was happy with the position and the tension it provided. Ron said he wouldn't use the hook anyway so I decided to use the awl. It's quite an elegant solution.

My exact words:

Gotta have at least one tool that gets no use.

Now Mags fitted in an awl that can´t be used. Oh well.

No, we start at 07:30 as usual, and finish at 12:00; my employer will take the heat so to speak.

Since many of our employees suffer some disabilities, mental or physical, not working under extreme weather circumstances is part of our contract. We´re a government subsidized organization so it would seem the tax payer is screwed. However, we´re about two weeks ahead of schedule so no serious harm done.

Ooh... My boss doesn´t need to provide any drinks. The people living in the streets where we do our work take good care of us... Coffee, cold drinks, ice cream...

I guess they are quite satisfied with what we do.  :D
