So close to being perfect
on: May 09, 2018, 10:10:41 PM
I wish these worked like this, the juice would become my daily carry.
Too bad I guess.. unless anyone's got any ideas?

Would it help if u put the pliers on the other end? Looks like the blade and scissors are hitting each other. The other end should give u more clearance.

But then again, is the back spring's size/width compatible?

I was very lucky to find matching parts and have a very bad habit of breaking apart stuffs.. I happen to have a loose squirt plier head. (see.. ) but unfortunately like in your pic. Doesn't quite match up.. Spring thickness will be another problem also.. But thats why modding is fun eh..  ;)

BTW Greene, looking at the pliers, I think it's a better idea to loose the spring and use the top hole for the pivot. That should give u more material to work with. Actually I think this should work.

I was thinking that exact thing, let me try swapping ends to get some clearance with the scissors and all, then I'll try them that way. When I get some time to sit down with it lol

The springs aren't perfect but it does snap open and closed
