As a romantic, I was watching the Royal Wedding when the items below were bought...some LUCKY buyer!
How do you all get over it when you miss a great deal.  It's not so much that they were a great deal, but in boxes too!  :ahhh  :like:
That Fisherman is on my top 10 want list.
If anyone here bought these, I'd love to buy them for a steep profit to you!

I recall an interminable bit of preaching in the middle which would have given you ca. 14 mins to jump on that bargain!
But seriously - as pretty as it is - A HUNNERD NINEDEE FIH DOLLAZ?! That's close to what Meghan's dress cost!

 :o @ that bailed Fisherman.
I have one, but it is eons from NIB condition.

True true. :)
I would love to have a NIB one though. Mine had the tip of the small blade broken off when I got it and TONS of corrosion all over. I was able to fix a lot of the corrosion, but there are some areas of the liners I couldn't. And all I could do was make the small blade more aesthetically pleasing by shaping it a little. The scales polished up very nicely though. :)
I got mine for free basically, so I can't gripe too much about it. I think the NIB ones are best left to dedicated SAK collectors, like yourself, so I'll just live with the one I have. Still a great piece of SAK history.

What self respecting American gives two hoots about some royal wedding? Our forefathers fought a war so we wouldn't have to pay any mind to such nonsense!  :twak: :ahhh

But hey, look on the bright side. At least it saved you 200 bucks!

I think people really enjoy seeing the Royal stuff, because the English are generally much happier/more content people. It is a break from the constant onslaught of negativity we see in the U.S. news coverage.  :tu:

It did save me $200, but I would have happily paid up to 2x more or more!

I was thinking how nice it is to see young love and new beginnings on the news, very nice break indeed!  :tu:

Fair enough lol, I was just teasing you. I don't actually have a problem with people enjoying such things!

That does make me curious though, what is it about this SAK that is worth so much to you?

Since I don't watch the onslaught anymore, I missed the wedding too, think I'm ok without either.  :D

If I watch anything but HBO or Prime video I get cranky.  :D

Sorry you missed that one FB, that's definitely a grail model, along with Black Beauty and the blue alox 91's.  :-\

Oh, I'm sorry, I have a hard time figuring out what some people mean then I end up going literal...sorry.

The rarity of finding one mint in box of an item I don't have and might spend years searching for.

I suppose it wasn't meant to be for me and someone was a very lucky buyer and hopefully feeling elated.
