Not that I don't like having one, I do, very much so, but the things I used it for these past 30 days I could have done with an Explorer as well. I love how capable the Swisschamp is, and it will definitely stay in my rotation as my EDC bag multitool (alternating with a Rebar and a Juice XE6), because I like to be prepared  - or at least feel prepared -, but yeah, not a true personal EDC item, at least not for my lifestyle.

Anyway, I enjoyed the challenge nonetheless, and the thought of "having to" rely on a tool this versatile and capable for a month was pretty satisfying.

yes in all truth the Explorer is almost as capable for EDC but this is more like a camping, hiking or backpacking SAK to put in the bag,  :salute:
but just because it's the King of SAKs it is fun to own and a good piece to have for those "what ifs" the we step upon from time to time  :tu:
