Day 13

Spent some time with a friend that makes his own beer so the caplifter got a workout.

Day 14

No task for the Swisschamp today, so just a group shot of all my red Vic's together with the Swisschamp towering over the bunch.

I'm going to have to quit the challenge.  I went out of town for a BBQ yesterday and left my SC at my friends house and won't be able to get it for several days sorry.

It's a pity, but although it stems from your mistake, it's a force majeure we may say, so maybe you could carry on when you can get it back. Perhaps someone in the know can enlighten us.  ???

Day 16

I'm carrying on anyway, today I opened a new razor and did some slicing and dicing in the kitchen for some light dinner. (The onions were for the spread seen on the last pic, apart from the onion it contains cottage cheese, sour cream, salt, red pepper and ground caraway seed. Pretty tasty!)

Day 17

Some more package opening today, also used the magnifier in the supermarket to check the ingredients of some candy - it was extremely small print.

Day 18

Spent most of the day on the road, but still managed to squeeze in some package and letter opening in the morning. I just can't live without opening stuff, it seems. :) Also used the Swisschamp to cut up a huge burger when we stopped for a snack, but no pics of that, sorry.

Day 20

Another busy day, the Swisschamp came in handy when the door handle had to be removed from the fridge for it to fit the car's trunk.

Day 1

As I very much enjoyed my previous challenges I wanted to keep my monumentum, so after two Leatherman runs (Rebar and Juice) I decided to go with a SAK. You guys - at least the ones who voted - decided that it should be a Stack challenge, so I will have my Swisschamp as my primary tool. I'm pretty sure it will serve me well, very versatile, it's not called the champ for nothing. :)

I will start the challenge with the tool's introduction: I acquired this SAK used from our fellow member ThePeacent, and after a good cleaning and the addition of new scales it's almost like new. The plier jaws are very slightly bent, but they're perfectly functional, other than that there were minor scratches on the magnifier, but I managed to polish them out pretty well.

I'm looking forward for this month, although I don't expect any surprises, I know this is a very reliable multitool.  :climber:

Gene Stoner already expressed his intention of coming along for the 30 days, but anyone is welcome to join!

(Image removed from quote.)
Apart from the small blade, the inline Phillips must be one of the best tools ever put in a SAK

Day 21

Long road trip today, moving furniture and stuff from one city to another (and bringing backs others), used the Swisschamp's flat driver to further disassemble a table while trying to tetris it into the car, unfortunately I had no device on me down in the parking lot to document it, so just a generic pic. But yeah, it was better I had the SAK in my pocket and the phone upstairs than the other way around. :)

I have never handled one, my preferred is 4 layer so it seems kinda big but most people says it handles great anyway

I had the same concern and it was a big surprise when I finally handled it the first time. Despite the 7 (8?) layers, it's very comfortable, much more so than one would expect. So I say just give it a chanche, you definitely won't regret it.

Day 23

Used the magnifier to figure out the recommended mixing ratio of my e-liquid aroma concentrate - 'cause tiny print of course, why not? (The photo is just for show, obviously I held them in a much more reasonabe way. :) )
