Serrated Blast
on: May 19, 2018, 03:04:29 PM
Hi guys. I'm planning to do my first mod I'd like to swap the knife for a serrated blade on my LM Blast like the one from the rebar because I always have my Spyderco Polestar on me so it's redundant. I'd also like to exchange the small flathead for a reamer/awl. Just wondering if anyone's tried it before, and also how can I remove these screws on the handle??Thanks

I haven’t tried any mods on an LM Blast... hopefully somebody can chime in soon...

As for how to unloosen the screws, Loki-mobile’s wrenches works wonders... You can find out more details here...

Otherwise, maybe carefully use some pliers to do the job...

Good luck with your mod...

The thickness for those tools u mentioned should be the same. So swopping shouldn't be any issue at all. U could u 2 pliers to remove the screws with a little bit of heat for the locktite. Becareful as the zytel will melt. I strongly suggest getting the wrenches from Loki for the kurl screws though. They are rather expensive but are very well made. It took me a while to consider buying because of the price but now I simply can't live without them. Worth every penny spent!
