It’s not clear how many of the black Porsche designs are made... different sources name different numbers. It’s also not clear what the different packaging are...

You just need the Rubles...
A lot...
Great Russian Army knives!
(No no no, please do not start a political discussion. Just admire the style these Vics are decorated.)
Thanks, EMZ! (I hate political discussions --  do not trust any politicians at all.)
But, in a fact, these SAKs have no relations with the Russian Army (too expensive to supply privates and even officers) -- they are released for collectors first of all.

Where are they for sale??
For example, at all-wenger.ru (But I am afraid some of the models already sold out. This series was released in the end of 2017.)

Nick4, thanks for the info!
Already thought these knives weren't issued to the soldiers.
I especially like the designs of the one with the St. George ribbon and the one with the camouflage. To keep my neutrality I also want a Vic with UKR symbols. ;)
My experiences with payments and postage to and from Russia are positive when buying on Ebay and using Paypal. Otherwise my experiences are bad...
Ah welll, who knows...

Thanks, CeHo! It's very intersting information.

My Victorinox Presentation Master shelf queen.

I especially like the designs of the one with the St. George ribbon and the one with the camouflage.

EMZ, the knife with St. George ribbon is called "The Victory Day" (9th of May 1945) and displays the Order of the Patriotic War.
The St. George ribbon was used with the Order of Saint George (in Russia), and the same (or similar) ribbon also used as the ribbon of the Soviet Order of Glory and the medal "For the Victory over Germany"; and as sign of the Soviet Guard units too. So it's  first of all Soviet (both Russian and Ukrainian, or neither Russian nor Ukrainian -- it depends on the point of view) knife design. ;)

And the camouflage pattern displayed on the knive named "The Russian Army" probably called "Цифровая флора" ("Digital Flora"), but I am not sure -- there is another quite similar pattern called "Цифра-1" (Tsifra-1").

My experiences with payments and postage to and from Russia are positive when buying on Ebay and using Paypal. Otherwise my experiences are bad...

The only thing I hate probably even more than politicians is the Russian Postal Service.  It's just terrible.

Right?  They're awl awesome!  But I'm curious,  is the one on the left original?? So cool!  I didn't know they made blue scales Pre 60's :ahhh
Yes, it original knife from late 40s- early 50s, another one was shown by Jazzbass some years ago. It is interesting that blue cellidor scales were mentioned in Victorinox catalog (c.1950)  for small knives but  not for 91/84mm.

On an other thread here, I got the idea to couple together similar, in tool configuration, 91mm & 84mm. This is somewhat outside of my traditional scope regarding collecting SAKs. So I obtained three 91mm and three 84mm as follows:

91mm:
Golfer
Tinker
Spartan

84mm:
Golfer
Small Tinker
Tourist with T&T (to match the 91 Spartan)

I have been using wooden block with earth magnet posts to display my shelf Queens. I am currently building two-level blocks to display the paired 91mm & 84mm. Pictures to follow. I will be displaying some New current SAKs and somewhat Vintage (pre 1985) SAKs. I also been thinking about building a “Tinker Family” display to showcase the entire (limited to the four main configurations) Tinkers, namely,

The Tinker small
The Tinker
The super Tinker
The deluxe Tinker

I have all four, I just need to decide on the display method...probably a stacked wooden block system, as previously mentioned, I am in the process of designing an “eye pleasing” prototype. Wish me luck...:)
