This largish store display that features an all metal construction, chromed tools, and no back-springs.I still haven't figured out what, where, or when this was used for. There is a small threaded hole at the tip of the bottle opener.

Probably the one piece in my collection that holds a special meaning for me, sold to me by one of our UK members...is this Classic. When I was a kid, I loved reading about British history. Foremost was that nation's rich maritime history. I enjoyed reading about all the wars and battles that Europe went through for a time. Add to that a love of all things that have sails, and you can see why this particular SAK is special to me.

Meet the Classic made with oak taken from the HMS Victory, Vice-Admiral Lord Nelson's flagship at the Battle of Trafalgar, during that ships many repairs.

I even bought a few supporting pieces made from the same wood, such as a bookmark, a book, and a piece of the ships hull and copper cladding.

Well I was going to show a few of my own, but after being floored by Chako's contribution I'll stay in the wings.
The stage is yours Dan, utterly amazing  :hatsoff:

P.S when did you get the XXLT?

As for the snife collection, that's the first time I've seen the set of 10, that must have taken some serious tracking down....respect :salute:
I don't claim to know it all, but what I do know is right.

My be, it's for a pin to install this SAK sample in an upright position?

Tosh, I would love to see your collection.

Nick4, no clue. Those moving ones are mostly plastic. This one is solid. Wish it had working back-springs.

It would be perfect for the jeep and for any of those Crocodile Dundee incidents that may crop up from time to time.
