This is my official 2000th post and official first GAW.
This is an awesome group of people on  :MTO: And I want to pay it forward.  :cheers:

The guidelines are as follows:
I will use a random number generator to find the winner. The range will be 1-10,000.
The only stipulation I am imposing is this:
Your number cannot be within 10 points of another member's guessed number.
Example. If another member's guess is 4,327, then the closest numbers to that you can post will be 4,317 or 4,337.
This is to prevent someone losing the GAW by a single number. No decimal points please.
I will pay international shipping up to about $20US. Over that, I may need you to chip in a few bucks. Hopefully not, but I cannot imagine it being too much higher than that.

The prize is this:
1x Ganzo Firebird Chromium F301 MultiTool w/ Chromium Bit Kit and Nylon Sheath.
AND
1x Morakniv Robust with Plastic Sheath.
AND
1x 10x Jeweler's Loupe to examine your MT/SAK collection with. :D

The GAW will last TEN days. GAW closing will be May 30th 11:59pm Central US time.

I have the exact same loupe and the same Ganzo (only in beadblasted finish), and I'm really not an outdoors person, have no need for the Mora (and it's not even legal size here), so I'll won't take part in this GAW, but congrats on the post count GLBM!  :cheers:

Having said that, you could have stipulated the range between 0 and 1.000, then multiplied the entries by 10 and this way you'd be sure there was at least a 10 number gap (or multiple of 10) between every entry. The way it is now, the gap can be up to 19. You end up having lots of numbers unavailable.

Like this:
100, 119, 138, 157, 176, 195, 214, 233, 252, 271, 290

With range between 0 and 1.000, then multiplied the entries by 10:
100, 110, 120, 130, 140, 150, 160, 170, 180, 190, 200

Having said that, you could have stipulated the range between 0 and 1.000, then multiplied the entries by 10 and this way you'd be sure there was at least a 10 number gap (or multiple of 10) between every entry. The way it is now, the gap can be up to 19. You end up having lots of numbers unavailable.

Like this:
100, 119, 138, 157, 176, 195, 214, 233, 252, 271, 290

With range between 0 and 1.000, then multiplied the entries by 10:
100, 110, 120, 130, 140, 150, 160, 170, 180, 190, 200

That system is great in theory, but the practical application in this thread would be confusing to say the least. Or should I say, it would be difficult for ME to convey the system to others. I already had a hard time rewording what I did to make sense. It's difficult having mild dyslexia.  :ahhh
