Today is a big day for this thread!

I met with the sellers and they had many knives set aside for me (us :P).

Unfortunately some of you will come out empty-handed but between what I've gotten on my side and what they had for us, there are 31 knives matching the requests (some duplicates too). I've  got pictures of all of them but obviously it's going to take a while to process and propose them to each of you. I should find some time later today for that.

Another good news is that they'll be back in Geneva next week so I will be able to pick up the ones you guys will select. We've got plenty of time to take care of the payments too.

I will inform the unlucky among you and will keep looking the same way I have in the past weeks. Hopefully everyone will get what they wanted... I still doubt I'll find a red 1966 Wenger though but you never know ^^

Sorry for the confusion. I prefer a 1966 Wenger, I am not expecting red. I would be really excited if it has a bail. Thanks.

Hey Alan, there's no confusion, someone else specifically asked for a red 1966 Wenger.

Also, no army-issued SAK has ever had a bail supplied with it. Some people have added them on some army knives afterwards. Some civilian-issued Wenger SI have them (as opposed to the army-issued Wenger Soldat). Most of those you'll see with a bail have the empty square on the lower half of the front scale where the army ones have the WK quality control stamp.

I'll keep you all posted by PM

Guess that won't cut it... Our dear friend is looking for a red 66 Wenger. The Elsener ones are rather common... I've never seen a Wenger.

We're almost done in terms of pictures and PMs sent. If you didn't get a message yet, you'll get one this evening (european time)

Alright, that's it. Every PM has been sent with what we found. I'm a bit disappointed as quite a few of you are not getting anything... We can't do miracles ^^
Still, others seem to be quite happy so I'm relieved.

There are still quite a lot of messages needing to go back and forth regarding decisions, payments etc... And i've sent already quite a lot... and I realize I may have forgotten someone or made a mistake while sending messages. If you see this but still didn't get a PM (or whatsapp) from me; I'm sorry about that, please PM me and I'll get back to you ASAP.

I got one of those PMs and I have to agree, GREAT JOB Syem! I am happy with my decision (as well as my wallet too  :tu:). I am flying to Indonesia tonight and I hope when I get back home I can hold on to that BYSAK.

Syem - I realise I’m a bit late to the party, but would be keen to know if you have a 67 or 70?

I was one of the lucky smurfs that will get a BYSAK solely due to Syem's kindness and effort!
Like it's been said, thank you so much, for going out of your way and making possible what, for me, would be, otherwise, terribly hard to achieve!!

:hatsoff: to you sir!

All that's left for me to do is wait until it arrives at my doorstep.
