Is there any way to offer suggestions to the engineers at Victorinox? If this new nail file works well and is easy to clean, I'd love to see them incorporate a nailfile into the 91mm combo tool. I guess it would be best on the opposite side of the nail nick... It would be MUCH more useful than the file on the back of the parcel hook and it shouldn't interfere with can opener operations...

Thanks for the info Mr. Lightning Trousers. +1Kinda want a 2018 LE Cadet right now What do they call the Sportsman but with a phillips instead of corkscrew? The Berry Red? I'm kinda torn. I like the red color, I don't like paying extra for a 2018 stamp. I just ordered a Sportsman with the new nail file ( the seller verified that all of his stock of Sportsman knives are 2018 stock with the new file ). I haven't gotten a reply on whether he has all new cadets or not. I'm kinda hoping to get either a red or a black.
Can anyone tell if it's the same file type that's on the Executive?

I have an Executive that's less than a year old, and it appears to me that it's the same style of file as the 2018 Cadet.
Regarding Executive. As far as I know, several patterns were used for nail-file for this model.Simple example: https://leaf-vics.com/2017/03/525-executive.html
Aha!
