the clip is very good, I agree, but the mounting (assembly) not so good. The Surge and Wave's clip on mine tend to angle and move a lot, often resulting in less-than-perfect alineation of the clip with the tool and floppy positioning in the pocket.Here's a pic of what I mean with "angled clip". If there wa a n older model of clip I would like to know if it had these problems too (Image removed from quote.)

The clip on the Wave is perfect, the fact that you can remove or install very easy is great, don't know if there's like and old and newer version!
