Well well they replied very quickly and wanted to send me an offer... but I had just been asking questions and none were answered :D

I just called the nice lady (which included her phone number in the signature) and explained I was talking about custom knives... not just advertising.
I was kind of expecting that since I rang the bell at the "B2B advertising" door.

The info I have is:
- you HAVE to have a logo or special marking
- in Alox there are only 4 colors available
- no custom knives can be made through normal channels

So I asked "who can do it for us then?" but she didn't even know that it might be possible nor did she know about any special runs... I told her about the VSAKCS series and send her a few links to look at. She should get back to me with more info, hopefully  ::)

I very rarely use the saw.  An Electrician Plus X with the metal file in place of the saw, on the other hand... :drool:

I'm voting "other" 'cause I have no need for a wood saw... I'd prefer a metal saw+file and/or Philips screwdriver or better yet, the cybertools' bit driver & bit holder... or wenger tools... or 2 main blades: 1 straight edged and 1 with a serrated edge... pliers maybe?

I would probably get at least one of any of the knives you proposed but if I had my pick I would go for something that suits my needs as an IT person that "never" needs to cut any wood ^^

Cybertool on the Pioneer frame will not work.  Needs 4 pivots and a very special backspring.  Pliers are more feasible, but would still be more work that I imagine Victorinox would be willing to put in.  Same for the metal file, even though it only needs a larger hole drilling.

I wonder if the tooling for the inline technician's screwdriver still exists? I'd be interested in a Motorist plus wood saw.  The body of the knife keeps the backside fine screwdriver from fitting in the weird places many terminal blocks are, and for some dumb reason, there isn't a 2.5mm bit in the CyberTool.  But on the choices, it's more the Farmer X for me.
