Merit Badges Build your own version of an MRE using off-the-shelf components, post a photo of the completed MRE and store at room temperature for 6 days or more. Consume the MRE after the storage period and post pictures and descriptions of the contents. Start a new thread and post a photo of the 110 knife for thirty (30) consecutive days. Nicked myself the other day when closing the awl... barely enough to bleed, and it’s almost healed, but I can safely say that this SAK is mine now, right?  :D

Yesterday I was in one of those local DIY stores on the country side here, were looking for some paint for our bench-table in our backyard.
Otherwise we would have to drive some 50km to the next professional and good equipped DIY super store.
They usually have the stuff that countrysiders and farmers need, so it's limited.
However, I was amazed to see that they sell some 2 and 3 layer SAK s :o
And also a Camo Spartan  :tu:

... but I wasn't alone  :whistle:

Yesterday I was in one of those local DIY stores on the country side here, were looking for some paint for our bench-table in our backyard.
Otherwise we would have to drive some 50km to the next professional and good equipped DIY super store.
They usually have the stuff that countrysiders and farmers need, so it's limited.
However, I was amazed to see that they sell some 2 and 3 layer SAK s :o
And also a Camo Spartan  :tu:

I too would have been surprised to see a shop in Ireland (other than the camping shops in the cities) selling SAKs. :o

Day 18

The Yeomatt opened a pack of rechargeable AAs, low self discharge. My Av4 charger measured 2380 to 2400 mAh between all four of them. These are cheap ones from one of the 2 well known discounters.
