Good to have our local celebrity back!  :tu:
Don't worry Calvin, chances of her having a normal and active life are high. Watched a Believe it or not episode about a dog with two legs, can't remember which side, front and back. The dog can run/hop, before stopping the dog would look for a place to lean on.
With TLC a lot of things can be possible and I'm sure she'll have it  :tu:

I've seen a couple of dogs with only three legs and they got along quite well. The vet said she will never miss it. I'm a little worried about her health though, she is the runt of the litter and doesn't seem like she is doing all that well some of the time. I'm hoping the best for her and the vet will see her and the others in about a week and a half.

Calvin

As long as she has the will to suckle no problem. But I guess you have to delay her from meeting other dogs when she grows up, the smaller one have to take time to built up their immunity.

Multitools are the best thing that happened to mankind since the invention of the wheel!

Calvin. Ya tugged at my heartstring over the little one. Ya see I buried my lab 2 years ago and she was a misfit. Like myself and my kids. She was the runt of the litter, and really was constantly ill for the first week, and the neihbor decided that it was time to take her for the walk. Well myself and the 3 kids at the time decided that we would make him a offer. We would watch all the puppies, and take care of them if we could see if the little one would make it. 5 weeks later we took her home and continued to bottle feed her for 2 more weeks and spent a ton of Dough at the vets. All the nights of tending to her, keeping her away from the others, and having her suckle alone payed off. She was our best and last dog ever. For 15 years she was the best friend to all 5 Including Destinee. So glad you are giving her a shot. It will pay off.
