Day21Work and errands have me running around in circles so much I haven't gotten a chance to take a decent photo. So I was thinking about what to snap real quick and I remembered that $2 bait knife that my wife tried to open the paint can with... you remember that bent tip right?Well that knife found a new home immediately after. And here it is packed in with all the cheap Harbor Freight tools that make up my car kit. Now I use generic tools in car tool kits for the simple reason that having had a car broken into before I feel everything left in a car should be considered disposable. That way if it's stolen or your loan it out and it walks off it's not a big deal.
Day24I figured since there is another thread about the uses of a hawkbill blade that I would show off one of mine. This is an Aranyk mini-billhook pictured next to my RCF and ST300 for size.I have used this knife mainly for light wood working and as a curved drawshave/scraper by gripping the handle and hump on the back of the blade. It doesnt get used often but when it does is handy for whatever special tasks I give it
