I love those scales!  Where did you find them?
A seller on eBay named bickysrestorations was selling them, they're new in a clear tube.  Not sure if he has more.
Rest in peace ColoSwiss, you will always be remembered.

I've had mine a couple of years and love it Bill!  I really like FoBo's collection though.  It's really renewed my interest in the 58s and the Minichamp in particular.

Nice Minichamps Lisa!!  Love that tye dye!
Busy day for me and the Rambler.  I went on a 20 mile hike with my youngest to fulfill a Boy Scout requirement.  We hit the halfway point at an old railroad tunnel, at least a 1/4 mile long.  Afterwards, we had dinner at my father in law's, where the Rambler's caplifter helped me enjoy a cold brew😀

That is cool that you went on the 20 mile hike with your son!

Great use of the scissors and caplifter Barry!  :2tu:

Nice pics! :like:

DAY 3

I used the scissors on my StayGlow MiniChamp to open a bag of CherryBerry Blend and the pen blade to open some American Cheese Singles.

Day 3
I received a used MiniChamp yesterday in the 5 knife haul that has a slightly bent tip on one of the blades.  You can see it at the top in the middle.  Not disclosed in the eBay ad, but seller stated his knives haven't been inspected, so I figure I'm going to turn it into a user knife.
I don't want to put nice scales on it, yet I need a way to distinguish it from the others.  I had these scales left over from switching out others, so I present to you LW, or Little Wonky, because that's what this knife is.  I'll carry it today.

Rest in peace ColoSwiss, you will always be remembered.

Thanks Barry!   I figure I won't worry as much taking this one to places like the beach, movie theater, etc.
But knowing me, I'll get attached to Little Wonky after carrying it around everywhere.

Day 3.

This is a great thread! Thanks FB for starting it!
Being the only 65mm in the challenge I'm going to have to step up my game.

This morning I taught a neighbor kid how to make a alcohol stove out of aluminum cans.
The Wenger scissors and awl worked great for this task.

Okay, here is Mini Challenge #1 within the challenge.
One of you will win one of the knives shown in the photo...you will be able to pick the one you want.  In order to be eligible, you must post a photo of your SAK with a bottle or can of root beer.
You have until the end of day 6 to complete the mini-challenge.  This can also double as your entry for the day. If all entries have been submitted before then, I will go to random.org to pull a number.  Those numbers will be a range of when this is announced and then a few numbers after the last entry.
Good luck!
The knives below are:
Silvertech Spartan (new in box), Black Climber (as new), Black Spartan (as new), Dark Green Signature (gently used), Red Executive (as new).
