I doubt it. I suspect the team in the marketing department slapped themselves on the back for that one !

But rules are there, like the space time continuum, to be bent out of shape. So here's a Bonus Day 5 Classic Beverage pic... it's not Root Beer, it's not ginger beer, but it's got ginger root in it and it's an alarming green colour that is warning enough to its alcohol content ! Will you let that qualify FoBo on a technicality ?

Great photos everyone, and congrats to the winners of a very generous giveaway from FB  :tu:

Day 2

Something I do regularly with the tip of the can opener on the larger Saks, I used the file to break the vacuum seal on a jar of pickles, I'm new to the Classic and I'm impressed

DAY 5

The small blade of my Executive opened and broke down a bunch of boxes today.

This SAK has special meaning to me.

When I was a Victorinox dealer my dad had his choice of any Victorinox knife he wanted and he chose this black Executive.  It was his favorite EDC knife.

Click on pictures for best picture.

A great story VICMAN, I have a soft spot for items with a history  :tu:

Day 5
I'm going with the Dragabond (Dragonfly Vagabond).  The scales are amazing, yet the drawback is no pen.

Good use of the file! :D

I think you will gain a fondness for the Classic as the challenge progresses.

For it's small size it is capable of solving a lot of daily chores. :2tu:

Thanks FoBo for allowing a little rule warping

I do like those Clockwork scales (it's the Swiss and watches thing) but I'm only grateful I didn't spill any ginger wine on them. I can imagine a lot of fizzing and smoke if that were to happen. It's the sort of liquid that should be marked "No naked lights" etc

Good call with the Executive Vicman   :like: nice to see it's getting used not hiding in a drawer. Great story and great SAK !

74mm Minichamp? That's an excellent idea Barry. I loved that challenge but carried my Ambassador for it. And that is ready to go for today

DAY 6

I used the letter opener blade on my MiniChamp to open and break down boxes, and cut off flaps.

This MiniChamp has a toothpick and retractable pen so I put a toothpick in the lanyard the way FB showed in one of her posts...thanks for the idea FB!
