Dale Gribbel is always carrying a multitool on his belt. It looked like a PST in one episode.

Hank Hill also uses what appears to be a Gerber Multiplier in an episode where he has to save Randy Travis from a camper that has rolled into the river.

He also explains what a multitool is in an episode - I think he is repairing something at the time.
