Strangest Shelf Queen

As devotees of SAK's, we know that between 1998 & 2018 Vic issued 26 knives honoring Switzerland's 26 cantons. The set consists of 100 Climbers for each Canton in rosewood boxes w/certificates of authenticity. The language on each box cover & on the CofA reflects the dominant language spoken by a majority of the people of the canton, German, French, or Italian--except for one canton, Graubuenden.
The box cover of this canton knife reads: "smurfe da Colleczium Grischun." At first, I thought this was Italian, but at second reading I realized "smurfe" is not the Italian word for knife. It is the Romansh word for knife. In fact, not only the box cover but the CofA is also in Romansh. Altho spoken by only a very small percent of the country's population, Romansh is recognized as one of the 4 official languages of the Swiss Confederation along w/German, French, & Italian. It is the only knife in the 26-knife collection that honors not the largest linguistic group but the smallest!
PS: I apologize for not showing pics, but I have problems taking them w/my camera & downloading (uploading?) them to the forum. You know, old dogs, new tricks, etc.

The box cover of this canton knife reads: "smurfe da Colleczium Grischun."
It sounds a little bit strange for me. As far as I know in Romansh (Rumantsch Grischun) the word for knife is "
c u n t è
".

You are absolutely right. The word on the box cover is "smurfe" (accent on e). I have no idea how "smurfe" got there unless some gremlins inserted it. Yes, the pics of most of the knives are on SAKwiki including one showing part of the box cover for Graubuenden and the word "smurfe" with the accent mark on the e.

I get it. The autocensor bowdlerized C u n t e.
The set is complete from the first canton, Schwyz, in 1998 to he last, Jura, the 26th, which was issued just a few months ago.

If anyone (Marduk?
) can take pictures so that we can finish off the page - That would be great - Please PM me
We are missing some pics from issues 1,2,5 and and all of 24, 25, 26
We also need to sort out the formatting of the page (eg make pics bigger, get rid of that yellow background!!))
