Paratool w/ wirestrippers?
on: June 15, 2018, 02:40:01 AM
Hey guys, thinking of modding my dad's mt for father's day. Does the wire stripper tool  fit on the paratool? Would like to give him an extra tool and make his mt more unique

The ParaTool may be able to accept it, but you have to sacrifice one or two long tools in one handle to do it.
Since the ParaTool is non-locking, many tools would be easy to modify to fit the handles. No pesky notches to worry about. :)

thanks! Now that I look at the paratool it has two plastic washers on the right handle with the file, can opener and awl. could I possibly scrunch the two smaller tools up and get rid of the plastic washers?

The primary thing about the ParaTool is that the plier head must fold into the handles on the sides, instead of the insides. Adding a longer tool to either side (even removing the washers) would cause the plier head to not seat within properly. That may not be an issue though. Depends on how he carrries it. :)
I could personally deal with the pliers not seating all the way in. Doesn't seems like it would affect the usage, aside from it not closing perfectly.
