Hey there modders and lurkers, this is my take at the Mini-Surge with some original mods, but I got a lot of my inspiration from Metro(policity) and Evil(510). Links are the bottom.

Mods are:
- Thumbstuds on the CE and normal knife
- Locking Victorinox Scissors
- 90° locking bit driver
- Rebar head
- Aluminium pieces on the handle
- Rebar awl instead of scissors
- Rebar philips instead of mini bitdriver and can-opener
- Added guthook to CE knife
- Added Victorinox pen, toothpick and tweezers
- Added copper washer where there were no washers
- Made the flat driver into a chisel

Thumbstuds themselves are just M3 allen bolts in a carefully made piece of stainless steel. (Made by hand with just a hacksaw, files and sandpaper) Tapped and screwed in with locite. Pieces are pressed in the knives.

Victorinox scissors where I welded some stainless steel onto the pivot and then used files to shape the locktab en drilled a hole for the detent.

Aluminium handles where made out of a solid black of aluminium. (Cut with hacksaw and shaped with files and sandpaper)

Guthook was made with a dremel, files and sandpaper.

Copper washers were made with a punch and then sanded.

Mods to come (hopefully one day)
- S30V blade
- Surge blade exchanger instead of file
- Maybe get some charge handles and scales and make carbon scales
- Maybe make bit driver that takes standard bits or just replace it with a medium and large flat driver

Very nice!  :like:

I like the non-invasive solution to add of the thumbscrews. :tu:

Where did you hide pen, toothpick and tweezers? I think I see the end of one, but the others are a mystery.

The picture you see is from the tweezers, the other stuff is hidden in the other endcaps.
