Recently I have been curious about something. My PowerPliers and PocketPowerPliers are mostly marked Lynnwood, WA. But, there is a PPP marked Edmonds, WA.
I have searched for some info, but have arrived at no definite conclusion.
Does anyone know the storyline for the switch from one to the other? The Edmonds version has pat. pend., less defined stamping, dull finish(not washed or high polished) and what I think are the earlier SOG implements. Although, as we know with SOG, they switched tool versions all over the place back then. Note: these are both close-to unused(if used at all), so I do not believe there has been any tool swapping with these two. The only modification I did was to swap the plastic washers to metal ones, because they were cracked or discolored badly from age/dry-rot. Order and placement are the same as received.
Here is a photo of the two PPPs.

And an extra group pic for fun.
