Boy but those stag covers sure are  :dd:.  I would not hesitate for the right price.  My Jr is yellow synthetic covers (delrin?) which I dont think twice about working hard.  I also really like that color.  My large is black which works in that color.

I've only just realized that the nail nick is on one side .  I pinch to open not using the nail nick.

Ours are the same Aloha.  I really like the yellow scales too.  All my Case knives have them!

What keeps me from, wait.......  what slows me.  Thats better.  What slows me from getting a more expensive traditional is this darn knife.  It does everything I need and want.  Its a little rough around the edges but nothing that prevents it from what it is.

I think some of us gradually evolve to want "nicer" versions of things we already have  :dunno:.  I can be that way too.  I think to myself, if this lessor priced tool is this good I can only imagine what paying double/triple the price would get me.  Then I read all the pros and cons of the higher priced item and I get sucked in.  Thankfully my frugal life always puts me in check.

In the CASE ( pun intended ) with the Sod Buster Jr for my purposes its simplicity and simple components are what make this little gem so lovely.  Ok the CASE can be made that my SAK can do the same.  Heres my rationale, sometimes I enjoy an apple while other times a plum.  Neither is so good that I'll not have one over the other.

Looking great too David!  Yellow handles are my favorite Case colors.  I need to pick up a Bullnose.  This Challenge has sold me on this pattern.

It is a great pattern. I just went through all five pages of this thread and enjoyed a lot.    :tu:     :like:

Got more than a few Sodbuster knives.
Found this one in a bargain bin at the Spirit of Steel show, in Dalton Georgia, last spring.  (Same bin my Alox Vic came from).
